Less blogging, more work

Hmm, almost no posts for one month. Here is a quick summary of what I’ve been up to (as a reminder for myself).

Bought a PlayStation 2 (GT4 bundle) and the Guitar Hero game (which is a lot of fun). Had some time off during easter. Been learning Ruby (and the rails framework) and done some catching up on the Symbian development environment.

Been thinking about:

• Barcodes (which I’m pretty certain cannot be read with a current generation camera phone without an auto-focus lens; the images are way too blurry)
• Social mobile shopping (with a real world connection using barcodes, obiously. This will be a hot thing when some of the biggies launches a service like this)
• Why mobile application development isn’t made more easy and what could be done about that (summary: a lot!).
• Wether the E61 would be any good (I now have a N70, but the qwerty keyboard and bigger screen would be nice)
• Corporate development
• Some mobile mashup ideas (even some that I might want to bootstrap)
